DoubleFrame ("we," "us," or "our") is a product of Pypple Technology LLC (Wyoming, USA). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the DoubleFrame iOS application (the "App").
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
Usage Data
We automatically collect anonymous usage data through Mixpanel, our analytics provider. This may include app interactions and events, feature usage patterns, recording settings selected (resolution, format, lens pairs), device model and operating system version, app version, and crash or error logs.
Purchase Data
When you make an in-app purchase, Apple processes the transaction and provides us with a purchase confirmation. We do not receive or store your payment information, Apple ID, or personal account details.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect your name, email address, or contact information. We do not access, upload, or process your recorded videos or photos. We do not collect location data, advertising identifiers, or data from other apps on your device.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected usage data to improve and optimize the App's features and performance, identify and fix bugs and technical issues, understand which features are most used, and make informed decisions about future development.
4. Device Permissions
The App requests the following permissions:
- Camera — Required to capture video from the device's cameras.
- Microphone — Required to record audio with video.
- Photo Library — Required to save recorded video files to your device.
All video and audio is processed and stored locally on your device.
5. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services:
- Mixpanel — Analytics. Mixpanel receives anonymous usage data. Mixpanel's privacy policy is available at mixpanel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- Apple StoreKit — In-app purchase processing, governed by Apple's privacy policy.
6. Data Retention
Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 12 months. Video and audio files are stored locally on your device and are not retained by us.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Usage data is shared only with Mixpanel for analytics processing as described above.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. The App is rated 4+ on the App Store.
10. International Data Transfer
Usage analytics may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence, including the United States. By using the App, you consent to the transfer and processing of this data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Effective date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
