Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the DoubleFrame mobile application ("App") operated by Pypple Technology LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

2. Pricing and In-App Purchases

The App is free to download. Unlocking recording functionality (dual camera video recording, photo capture, 4K resolution, HDR, and all supported lens combinations) requires one of the following purchases:

Subscription terms: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews each week unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions) — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Purchases are tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device signed into the same account using the "Restore Purchases" option in the App. Customers who previously bought the legacy one-time unlock ($6.99) retain permanent access to all features at no additional cost.

3. In-App Purchases and Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms of sale. We do not process payments directly. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Device Requirements

The App requires iPhone XS or newer (A12 Bionic processor or later) running iOS 16.0 or later. Dual-lens recording requires a device with multiple rear cameras. Available camera combinations vary by device. Sufficient storage space is required for video recording.

5. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all video and audio content recorded using the App. We claim no rights or license to your content. Your files are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.

6. Analytics and Data Collection

The App collects anonymous usage analytics through Mixpanel to improve performance and features. By using the App, you consent to the collection and processing of anonymous usage data as described in our Privacy Policy. No personally identifiable information is collected.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all devices or configurations. We are not responsible for any data loss, corrupted files, or device issues arising from use of the App.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pypple Technology LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the App, if any.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pypple Technology LLC from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease use of the App and delete it from your device.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Wyoming or, where applicable, under the binding arbitration provisions of the Apple App Store.

12. Apple App Store

These Terms are between you and Pypple Technology LLC, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance, support, or warranty for the App. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims related to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and have the right to enforce them against you.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The updated version will be indicated by the effective date at the top. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
